AFM 2024 Brings Global Cinema to Las Vegas
After 45 years in Los Angeles, AFM has relocated to Las Vegas, as announced by the Independent Film & Television Alliance® (IFTA®) in early 2024. The event at the Palms Casino Resort features 286 companies in film production, sales, and distribution, including major players like A24, Lionsgate, and WME Independent. AFM also showcases national representation, with countries such as China, France, and Thailand hosting dedicated umbrella stands. Additionally, LocationEXPO will welcome film commissions from Japan, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and others, offering filmmakers resources for location-based productions.
AFM Sessions: Exclusive Panels and Industry Insights
The 2024 AFM Sessions, sponsored by Wrapbook & Film Hawaii, will bring together 100 industry leaders across 30 panels. Highlights include a special “Innovators” panel on November 7, featuring one-on-one interviews with Stuart Ford (AGC Studios) and Sébastien Raybaud (Anton), led by Screen International’s Jeremy Kay and The Hollywood Reporter’s Scott Roxborough.
