Designer Ugo Gattoni shares the story behind the Celebration Edition:
“Around Christmas 2023, while working on the official Paris 2024 posters, I accidentally inverted the colors, creating a nocturnal scene with neon hues. This inspired me to develop a new version, modifying each color to reveal the hidden beauty of Parisian nights.”

Experience the Posters in Augmented Reality
In a first for the Olympic Games, Paris 2024 and the International Olympic Committee are offering an augmented reality (AR) experience of the official posters. Available via the IOC @Olympics app, this technology brings the posters to life, allowing users to explore the intricate details and vibrant scenes depicted in Gattoni’s work.
From July 25, owners of the daytime posters will also be able to use a QR code to experience the night version in AR, visually capturing all the sports and sites of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris and France. This interactive feature offers a deep dive into the artistry and storytelling of the Celebration Edition posters.
