A Major Medical Event at Connexin Live Hull
Connexin Live Hull hosted the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland Annual Scientific Meeting from 24–28 November 2025. The event brought more than 800 vascular professionals to the city. It featured plenary sessions, specialist breakouts, an exhibition and on-site networking. In addition, members of the public received free guidance on 26 November at St Stephen’s Shopping Centre. Healthcare experts offered advice, answered questions and explained how to prevent vascular conditions.

A Strong Year for Association Events
This major event concluded a successful year for association conferences at Connexin Live Hull. Earlier in May, the Society for Radiological Protection held its Annual Conference at the venue. More than 400 delegates attended. It was the first time the event had taken place in Hull. Organizers praised the venue’s central location and strong transport links. They also noted its close connections to the UK energy sector. The conference used the entire venue, which demonstrated the flexibility of the space.

Cllr Rob Pritchard, portfolio holder for culture and leisure, welcomed the event. He said the conference was a major success for Hull. He also stated it showed the strength of regional partnerships.
