YESCO has completed a major digital upgrade at the Colorado Convention Center. The company installed two large curved LED displays on the building’s exterior as part of the recent YESCO LED display installation Colorado Convention Center project. As a result, the venue now offers a high-impact platform for digital advertising in downtown Denver.
The project was completed in partnership with Branded Cities. Together, the teams created a bold visual feature designed to attract both foot traffic and passing vehicles.
Large Displays Add Visual Impact
First, YESCO built the structural framework for the installation. Then, the team installed two electronic message centers provided by Media Resources Inc..
Each display measures about 26 feet tall and 56 feet wide. In addition, each unit weighs more than 20,000 pounds. The screens use a 16mm pixel pitch, which delivers bright and clear images.
Because of their size, the displays stand out in the busy downtown area. They also allow advertisers to deliver strong, eye-catching content.
Strategic Placement in High-Traffic Areas
The displays sit on two sides of the building. One faces 14th Street and Champa Street. The other faces 14th Street and Welton Street.
As a result, the installation reaches a wide audience throughout the day. Both locations see steady pedestrian movement and heavy vehicle traffic.
In addition, the curved design follows the building’s architecture. This creates a smooth visual flow across the exterior. It also helps the displays blend into the structure instead of standing apart.
Because of this approach, the project improves both appearance and function. It strengthens the building’s role as a central hub in downtown Denver.
Combining Design and Technology
YESCO says the project highlights the value of merging design with modern technology.
“This project shows how digital media can enhance architecture,” said Jeff Young.
He explained that the team used precise engineering and advanced LED systems to deliver the final result. As a result, the displays allow the building to interact with its surroundings in a new way.
At the same time, the installation creates more opportunities for advertisers. Brands can now use the space to reach large audiences in a prime location.
Expanding Out-of-Home Advertising
The project supports Branded Cities’ strategy to grow out-of-home media. The company focuses on high-profile locations where visibility is strong.
Because the convention center sits in a key downtown area, it offers excellent exposure. Therefore, advertisers can connect with both residents and visitors.
In addition, the LED displays allow for flexible content. Messages can be updated quickly and adjusted for different audiences.
As digital advertising continues to grow, installations like this are becoming more common. They offer a modern way to deliver content in public spaces.
Built on a Long Industry History
YESCO has operated in the signage industry for more than a century. The company began in 1920 and continues to serve clients across North America.
Over time, it has completed a wide range of projects. These include restoring historic signs and building advanced digital systems.
Because of this experience, YESCO can manage large and complex installations. The company combines traditional skills with modern tools.
Today, it remains a leader in sign design, manufacturing, and maintenance.
Enhancing a Major Denver Landmark
The Colorado Convention Center hosts major events throughout the year. These include trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions.
The new displays, the building gains a stronger visual presence. It also creates new opportunities for event promotion and sponsorship.
In addition, the installation helps the venue stand out in a competitive market. It offers a modern feature that attracts attention and supports business growth.
The project reflects a broader shift in how buildings use digital technology. Many venues now integrate large displays to improve visibility and generate revenue.
