A Mission Built on Access and Opportunity
The Collaboration Center Las Vegas continues to set the standard for inclusion in Nevada. Founded in 2019, it helps people of all abilities find the care, education, and support they need. The center’s goal is clear: create a city where every person can thrive. Through its programs, events, and partnerships, the organization connects families to essential services while building awareness about disability inclusion.

Leadership That Drives Real Change
As a journalist covering community growth, I’ve had the chance to meet Cindy Goussak, Executive Director of the Collaboration Center Las Vegas, and her exceptional team. Every visit shows how deeply they care about making life better for others. Goussak leads with purpose and heart. She encourages her team to think forward, act boldly, and stay focused on creating positive results. Because of her leadership, the center has become one of Southern Nevada’s most respected community organizations.
Harvesting Hope Brings the Community Together
On Saturday November 8, 2025, the Collaboration Center Las Vegas hosted its 4th Annual Harvesting Hope Family Fall Festival and Community Resource Fair. The free event ran from 12 to 3 p.m. on the center’s five-acre campus and welcomes families of all abilities. This celebration highlights inclusion, connection, and community support.
Each year, the festival grows larger. More than 60 local organizations take part, offering families direct access to healthcare, education, advocacy, and recreation programs. Visitors will find groups such as 1 Care Kids, Best Buddies Nevada, GiGi’s Playhouse Las Vegas, and the Vegas PBS Special Needs Library. These partners help attendees discover programs and services that fit their unique needs.

Activities for Every Age and Ability
The Harvesting Hope Festival focuses on fun and participation. Families can enjoy a petting zoo hosted by the Raise The Bar-N Foundation. They can also take part in face painting, rock painting, and gardening activities. The Autumn Story Walk, organized by the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, mixes reading and movement for an interactive learning experience. In addition, sensory-friendly play zones and quiet areas ensure that everyone feels safe and comfortable.
Accessibility is at the center of every detail. The Collaboration Center Las Vegas campus includes wide walkways, accessible restrooms, and clearly marked sensory areas. Local food trucks served tacos, drinks, and desserts, making the day enjoyable for all visitors. Every guest can move freely, connect with others, and have fun without barriers.

Giving Back Through Action
This year, the Collaboration Center Las Vegas adds another way to make a difference. During the festival, the center will host a nonperishable food drive. Working with the Jewish Family Service Agency and Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, it will collect and distribute food to local families in need. Attendees are encouraged to bring canned or packaged donations.
This effort reflects the center’s belief that inclusion extends beyond accessibility. It’s also about kindness, equity, and community support. Cindy Goussak and her team continue to show that true leadership means helping others whenever possible.
Programs That Empower Families Year-Round
The Pathways Program is one of the center’s most successful initiatives. It helps families navigate disability services with personal, step-by-step guidance. Staff members connect individuals with healthcare providers, therapists, schools, and local agencies. This hands-on approach saves time, reduces stress, and ensures that families get the right help.
The Collaboration Center Las Vegas also serves as a shared campus for nonprofits and service agencies. By working together, these organizations reach more people and deliver stronger results. This spirit of cooperation lies at the heart of the center’s mission. It proves that when people collaborate, the entire community benefits.
Leadership That Inspires
Under the direction of Cindy Goussak, the Collaboration Center Las Vegas continues to grow and evolve. Her vision is to make Southern Nevada the most inclusive region in the country. Each new project brings that vision closer to reality. The center’s programs, events, and partnerships create lasting change for families living with disabilities.
Goussak’s leadership style blends strategy with compassion. She leads by example, showing how dedication and empathy can transform a community. Her work inspires staff, volunteers, and partners to stay focused on inclusion as both a value and an action.
Looking Ahead
As Las Vegas expands, the need for inclusive spaces grows too. The Collaboration Center Las Vegas meets that need every day. From large public events to individual support programs, the center stands as a place of hope, connection, and opportunity.
The Harvesting Hope Festival is more than a celebration—it’s a reminder of what happens when a city chooses unity over division. Families will leave with new friends, helpful resources, and renewed confidence.
The Collaboration Center Las Vegas proves that inclusion can be joyful, practical, and powerful. It shows how community starts with compassion and grows through action.
