Celebrate the Holidays at Las Vegas Science Museum

The Las Vegas Science Museum Holidays event invites the community to celebrate the season through culture, creativity, and science. Beginning November 28, 2025, the museum’s annual exhibition, A December to Remember, will fill every corner with festive traditions, performances, and hands-on activities for all ages.

A Season of Culture and Community

Running from November 28, 2025, through January 9, 2026, the Las Vegas Science Museum Holidays celebration transforms the museum into a vibrant winter wonderland. Visitors can explore how communities across Southern Nevada—and around the world—celebrate the season.

The event showcases global traditions, including German Christmas customs, Kwanzaa, Las Posadas, Native American practices, Islamic observances, Italian celebrations, Japanese winter festivals, and Hawaiian cultural displays. Families can also enjoy fun Winter Science experiments that blend learning with creativity.

Holiday Magic for Everyone

“The holidays come alive when we embrace family, culture, and tradition together, and A December to Remember brings that magic to life,” said Mariely Febles, Outreach and Community Engagement Manager. “It’s inspiring to see families connect over shared traditions and discover what unites us.”

Each week, guests can attend performances, workshops, and demonstrations by local community partners, including Kika Shibata, Aleida Castro, the Kizuna Japanese Society, Gina Cifonelli, Rose Oyamot, Jean Munson, and others.
