The annual Clark County pancake breakfast and egg hunt returns on Saturday, April 19. Hosted by Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick, Fire Station 20, and the Parks & Recreation Department, this free family event will deliver food, fun, and hands-on learning for all ages.

Community Breakfast Starts the Day Right
The event begins at 9 a.m. at Fire Station 20, located at 5865 Judson Street, near Nellis and Lake Mead boulevards. Volunteers and staff will serve fresh pancakes until noon, while supplies last. Because of high attendance in past years, families are encouraged to arrive early.
In addition to breakfast, the fire station will offer tours, games, and interactive safety activities. Children can enjoy hands-on crafts and play zones while adults explore emergency preparedness displays. Visitors can also view live “jaws of life” demonstrations, explore a mobile fire prevention house, and meet members of the Office of Emergency Management.
Egg Hunt Launches Outside Bob Price Recreation Center
The Clark County pancake breakfast and egg hunt continues at the Bob Price Recreation Center, located next door at 2050 Bonnie Lane. Check-in for the egg hunt begins at 9:15 a.m., with egg hunts starting at 10 a.m. and running through 12:30 p.m.
Children will be divided into age groups, with new hunts starting every 20 minutes. Each child should bring a basket to collect eggs. Because the egg hunt is located next to the breakfast site, families can easily enjoy both events without travel.
Local Agencies Come Together for Families
This event brings together multiple departments, including Fire Station 20, the Cora Coleman Senior Center, and Clark County Parks & Recreation. Their combined effort creates a seamless experience for the community. As a result, parents can relax while children learn, play, and connect with first responders.
Educational booths, vendor displays, and raffles will add more ways to engage. Because the event is entirely free, families from every background are welcome to participate. The setting encourages neighbors to connect and celebrate spring together.
An Annual Favorite in District B
