NORTH LAS VEGAS — Club Fortune North officially opened its doors this week, marking a major milestone for North Las Vegas. Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown joined casino executives and community leaders for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, welcoming guests to the property’s completely renovated gaming destination.
The reopening transforms the former Poker Palace into a modern neighborhood casino built for local players. Truckee Gaming purchased the property in 2025 and invested millions of dollars to create a fresh experience while preserving a longtime gaming tradition. During construction, crews uncovered aging infrastructure that required additional work before the project could move forward. As a result, the renovation became much larger than originally planned.
New gaming floor welcomes players
Guests now step onto a bright gaming floor filled with more than 450 new slot machines. The casino offers popular classics alongside the latest video slots from leading manufacturers.
The property focuses on slot gaming rather than traditional table games. Management believes that approach creates a faster and more convenient experience for neighborhood guests. Players can also visit the Boomer’s Sportsbook to wager on professional and college sporting events throughout the year.
Club Fortune North also introduced a rewards program designed to deliver benefits quickly.
