LAS VEGAS — February 2026 — With Valentine’s Day falling on a Saturday in 2026, Las Vegas is preparing for a busy wedding season. As the Wedding Capital of the World, the destination expects February to draw thousands of couples ready to tie the knot.
To support the increase in weddings, the Clark County Clerk’s Office, in partnership with the Clark County Department of Aviation, will open a pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport from Wednesday, Feb. 4, through Monday, Feb. 16. The temporary bureau will help couples obtain marriage licenses as soon as they arrive in Las Vegas.

February continues as peak wedding season in Las Vegas
February has long been one of the most popular months for weddings in Las Vegas. The city formally recognized the month as “Wedding Month” in 2022, when Clark County issued its five-millionth marriage license. Just two days later, Las Vegas marked “Twosday” on Feb. 22, 2022, when more than 2,300 couples married in a single day.
Valentine’s Day consistently ranks among the most popular wedding dates in the city. In fact, Valentine’s Day ceremonies account for 12 of the 20 busiest wedding days of all time in Las Vegas. As a result, February 2026 is expected to see especially strong demand.
In addition to Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14, couples are also drawn to memorable “magic dates” such as Feb. 6, Feb. 13, and Feb. 26. These unique numerical combinations continue to attract couples looking for a meaningful and distinctive wedding date.

Pop-up marriage license bureau offers convenience for travelers
The pop-up Marriage License Bureau will be located in Terminal 1 baggage claim at Harry Reid International Airport, directly across from carousel 15. It will operate daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Feb. 4 through Feb. 16.
In addition to issuing marriage licenses, the pop-up will also provide vow renewal certificates. Couples should note that the location accepts credit and debit cards only. By offering these services at the airport, Clark County aims to make the wedding process faster and more convenient for traveling couples.
For those unable to visit the airport location, the Clark County Marriage License Bureau at the Regional Justice Center in Downtown Las Vegas will continue normal operations. The downtown office remains open 365 days a year from 8 a.m. to midnight throughout February.

Officials highlight partnership and romantic appeal
“Sweethearts love the convenience of the pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport,” said Lynn Marie Goya, Clark County Clerk. “Love is always in the air during February, and our deputy clerks look forward to serving this special group of visitors.”
She also noted that the airport partnership has helped serve thousands of couples over the past eight years. The collaboration allows visitors to begin their wedding celebrations almost immediately after landing.
James C. Chrisley, Clark County director of aviation, emphasized the airport’s role in the experience. “As the gateway to Las Vegas, Harry Reid International Airport takes pride in offering unique services that reflect the destination,” he said. “The pop-up Marriage License Bureau is a fun and convenient way for couples to begin their wedding journey.”
Las Vegas maintains its global wedding reputation
With more than five million weddings performed to date, Las Vegas remains unmatched in the number of weddings per capita worldwide. From quick elopements to luxury resort ceremonies, the city continues to offer wedding options for every style and budget.
As February approaches, Las Vegas once again reinforces its reputation as a stress-free and romantic wedding destination. The airport pop-up Marriage License Bureau plays a key role in ensuring couples can focus on celebration rather than logistics.
