The Las Vegas Natural History Museum has launched a bold new experience. Called Rainforest Adventure, the traveling exhibition is open now through August 10. This Rainforest Adventure Las Vegas brings the rich biodiversity of the rainforest to the desert, offering something rarely seen in Southern Nevada.
This immersive maze takes guests through every layer of the rainforest. Each turn reveals new sights, sounds, and activities, making it a unique Rainforest Adventure Las Vegas experience. Families, students, and visitors of all ages are invited to explore.

Discover the four layers of the rainforest ecosystem
Inside the maze, guests travel through the emergent layer, canopy, understory, and forest floor. Each section shows how life thrives in every part of the rainforest during the Rainforest Adventure Las Vegas.
Along the way, guests solve questions about nature and climate. When they choose the right answers, they move forward. When they don’t, they reach learning stations that explain key facts. It’s fun, but also educational. Because of this smart design, every visit becomes a deeper discovery during the Rainforest Adventure Las Vegas.

Real rainforest sounds and hands-on activities
The experience isn’t just visual. Guests hear authentic rainforest sounds as they explore. These include bird calls, insect chirps, and rainfall. The exhibit includes smell-based stations and physical challenges. Kids can jump like frogs, swing like spider monkeys, and spin a rain stick wheel.
There’s also a migration challenge, showing how birds face danger on long flights. Visitors get to smell products that come from rainforest plants. From spices to rubber, each scent tells a story about how the rainforest supports our world.

Why this matters, even in the desert
Rainforests might feel distant, but they affect our daily lives. They help control Earth’s temperature. They influence weather, even in the Nevada desert. Plus, rainforests provide many products we use every day—like chocolate, shampoo, and medicine.
This exhibition reminds us that ecosystems are connected. What happens in the rainforest can impact cities like Las Vegas. Learning this helps visitors make better choices about the products they buy and the resources they support.
