A Celebration of Food, Speed, and Style
Sushi Roku F1 Race Weekend 2025 returns to Las Vegas for its third consecutive year, continuing to elevate the city’s culinary and entertainment landscape with a fusion of luxury dining and high-octane excitement. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Formula 1 race-track, the restaurant transforms into a space where energy, precision, and artistry converge. The rhythmic pulse of music, dynamic lighting, and seamless service mirrors the intensity and spectacle of the race itself.
I had the opportunity to sit down with Executive Chef Haruhiko Takeshita and General Manager Andrew Yim, who shared how their team meticulously crafted an experience that extends far beyond traditional fine dining. Together, they described the thoughtful planning and creativity that go into curating a weekend that reflects both the spirit of Formula 1 and the essence of Sushi Roku’s modern Japanese philosophy. From exclusive menu offerings to immersive ambiance, every detail was designed to capture the thrill of competition while maintaining the elegance and refinement that define the brand.
The result is an atmosphere where culinary excellence meets world-class entertainment — a celebration of speed, sophistication, and the seamless artistry that makes Sushi Roku a standout destination during one of Las Vegas’s most anticipated weekends.

The Race for Perfection
Yim says every season is a chance to improve. “Our goal was to make the Sushi Roku F1 Race Weekend elevated and effortless,” he explains. “It starts the moment guests arrive and continues until the checkered flag.” He describes this year’s theme as refined but full of motion. Guests can expect live DJs, signature cocktails, and a design that brings racing energy into the dining room. Because of lessons from the past two years, the team now delivers an atmosphere that feels polished yet alive. Each guest is part of the event, not just watching it.

Packages and Pricing
This year’s lineup offers three days of options. Thursday, November 20, marks Practice Day with a $100 minimum per guest. The menu includes regular dinner service and a special tasting designed to start the weekend. Friday, November 21, features the practice and qualifying rounds with $250 general seating and $400 VIP trackside packages. Both include an open bar, buffet, and Sushi Roku’s signature attention to detail. Saturday, November 22, is Race Day. Packages start at $500 for General Admission and go up to $2,000 for Platinum VIP tables. Each tier includes a premium buffet, table service, and prime race views. Reservations are filling fast, and Yim recommends booking early by emailing RSVP@sushiroku.com.

Inside the Kitchen
Chef Takeshita says the sound of the race changes everything. “When the engines start, you feel the vibration inside the kitchen,” he says. “It gives everyone energy.” Preparation begins months in advance to perfect timing and menu flow. The chef focuses on high-end ingredients that match the prestige of Formula 1. During the interview, he presented a lineup that showcased Sushi Roku’s creative balance: Fluke Kumquat, Yellow Tail Serrano, Yakumi Roll, Tuna Jalapeño Roll, White Lotus Roll, Toro Kanpachi Salmon Nigiri, and Lobster Tempura. Each dish showed precision in plating and texture while keeping flavors light and clean. Takeshita explains that returning guests want both tradition and surprise. “We mix Japanese purity with modern Las Vegas style,” he says.

Meeting Global Taste
Guests travel from all over the world for Formula 1, and the menu reflects that global excitement. Asian visitors tend to prefer clean, authentic flavors, while American diners favor bold sauces and rich combinations. To bridge these tastes, the kitchen designs every dish to appeal across cultures. The sushi bar features Nigiri, rolls, and a seafood buffet, joined by a raw bar serving oysters and jumbo shrimp. Servers circulate with small bites like Shrimp Tempura and Hanabi, keeping the pace lively while maintaining exceptional quality. According to Takeshita, the key is timing. “Culinary performance comes from rhythm,” he says. “It’s not just food—it’s movement.”

What Guests Expect
After three years, Yim and Takeshita have learned what defines success. Guests want great food, smooth service, and a clear view of the Strip that connects them to the race. “We match the energy of Formula 1 but stay authentic to who we are,” Yim says. The Sushi Roku F1 Race Weekend now draws repeat visitors who plan their entire weekend around the event. The crowd includes food lovers, race fans, and celebrities who appreciate a blend of excitement and comfort. The team handles high-value crowds with calm precision, keeping the service fast and friendly.

Views, Vibes, and Velocity
Sushi Roku’s design turns race weekend into a full visual experience. Floor-to-ceiling windows show the glowing skyline and passing cars below. Inside, the DJ spins as servers glide between tables with trays of colorful sushi and cocktails. Guests raise glasses while feeling the pulse of engines through the floor. Every angle offers a photo-worthy view—the Strip, the track, and the artistry on each plate. Because of that unity, dining feels like being part of the race. It’s fine dining with the adrenaline of Formula 1.
Why It Stands Out
Sushi Roku and Formula 1 share the same principles: precision, teamwork, and timing. Every detail matters, from knife cuts to customer flow. “Each year we refine, we grow, and we deliver something better,” Yim says. “Sushi Roku during F1 weekend is where food meets racing.” The Sushi Roku F1 Race Weekend captures the spirit of speed, the art of flavor, and the essence of Las Vegas. It celebrates movement, mastery, and the connection between passion and performance.
