LAS VEGAS — Expectant mothers and mothers with infants can connect with local health professionals, receive essential supplies and gain practical parenting education at a free event scheduled for Feb. 19 in Las Vegas. Community health leaders are working together to improve maternal and infant health outcomes across Southern Nevada.
The Southern Nevada Health District will host the event through its Healthy Start program in partnership with Health Plan of Nevada, Las Vegas City Councilwoman Olivia Díaz and several community organizations. Together, these partners will provide direct access to preventive care services, education and trusted local resources.
