A fire broke out at 2:20 p.m. on April 17 at a motorcycle dealership located at 6350 Boulder Highway, just south of Russell Road. Witnesses flooded the Combined Communications Center with calls, reporting rising smoke and visible flames due to the Boulder Highway motorcycle fire.
Firefighters from the Clark County Fire Department responded fast. They dispatched one engine crew and a battalion chief, placing five trained personnel on the ground. When they arrived, nearly 50 motorcycles were already burning in the rear of the property. The Boulder Highway motorcycle fire continued to spread.

Crews Contain Blaze Before It Spreads
The fire team took quick action. Flames shot upward, but they prevented the blaze from reaching nearby buildings. They focused efforts on controlling the rear lot, where the motorcycles were tightly packed. Crews worked tirelessly to control the Boulder Highway motorcycle fire.
Thick black smoke filled the area for blocks. Despite that, no injuries occurred, and local businesses remained safe. Crews knocked down the fire using aggressive tactics and teamwork.
Damage Estimated Over $250,000
Inspectors placed the damage at over $250,000. Most of the loss involved motorcycles stored outdoors. Fire teams kept the flames contained, avoiding structural loss or larger impact caused by the Boulder Highway motorcycle fire.
Investigators are still working to identify the exact number of bikes destroyed in the fire. They are reviewing security footage, speaking to employees, and scanning the scene for ignition sources.
Investigation Ongoing, Roads Reopened
By 4:00 p.m., firefighters cleared the scene. Both Boulder Highway and Russell Road reopened with no traffic issues. No evacuations took place. The fire did not force any shutdowns beyond the property line.
