Dates, Venue and Scale
Aberdeen will host the UK Stroke Forum Aberdeen 2025 at P&J Live from 25 to 27 November 2025. The conference marks the 20th anniversary of the Stroke Association’s flagship gathering. It will welcome about 2,000 delegates for three days of learning, collaboration, and skills development. Crucially, the programme spans prevention, acute care, rehabilitation, and life after stroke.
Sustainability, Access and Connectivity
P&J Live was chosen for strong sustainability and a citywide, joined-up approach. The venue runs on local renewable energy. Moreover, complimentary hydrogen and electric shuttles will link key hotels to the campus. The site also sits beside Aberdeen International Airport and major routes. Consequently, travel will be simple, low-carbon, and reliable for delegates.
Community Legacy and Local Partnerships
A team of local ambassadors worked with P&J Live and the Aberdeen Convention Bureau to secure the bid. Together, they built a plan that reaches beyond the venue. Specifically, a public engagement programme will signpost support for stroke survivors and carers. Therefore, the Forum will leave a clear and measurable community legacy across the region.
Youth Pathways and Skills Development
In partnership with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW), one session will focus on careers. Students will meet clinicians, therapists, researchers, and charity leaders. As a result, young people will see real routes into health and life sciences. The aim is simple: inspire the next generation and grow local talent.
