LAS VEGAS (December, 2025) — The countdown has begun for brides hoping to take part in one of Las Vegas’ most recognized wedding honors. The Vegas Wedding Dress of the Year contest is now in its final weeks, and organizers continue to accept submissions through Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026.
The Wedding Capital of the World™ presents the annual contest alongside the Office of the Clark County Clerk and the Vegas Wedding Chamber. The winning gown will appear in a public display starting February 2026 inside Harry Reid International Airport. As a result, millions of travelers will see a dress that represents a 2025 Las Vegas wedding.

“As the year comes to a close, we encourage everyone who had a 2025 Vegas wedding to share their story,” Goya said. “So many creative and meaningful moments took place this year. This contest gives those stories a chance to shine.”
Who Can Enter the Contest
Eligibility for the Vegas Wedding Dress of the Year contest includes brides who wore their dress during a wedding held in Clark County, Nevada, during the 2025 calendar year. Brides may enter their own gown. Family members and friends may also submit nominations.
In addition, the selected dress must remain available for display during the 2026 calendar year. Organizers will accept either the original gown or a replica.
How to Submit an Entry
Entries must be submitted on Instagram by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. Participants must keep their Instagram accounts public so judges can review submissions.
To enter:
- Post a photo of the bride wearing the dress
- Follow and tag @vegasweddingcapital and @lvweddingchamber
- Include the wedding date and photo location
- Share the wedding story using up to 280 words
- Add #2025VegasWeddingDress and #2025VegasBride
Each step ensures the selection committee can fairly review every entry.
Selection Process and Timeline
A committee made up of representatives from the Wedding Capital of the World™ and the Vegas Wedding Chamber will review all eligible submissions. Afterward, judges will select the winning dress based on creativity, story, and overall presentation.
Organizers will contact the winner by Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026. The selected dress must arrive at the Office of the Clark County Clerk by Monday, Feb. 2, 2026. The office is located at 500 S. Grand Central Pkwy., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
