LAS VEGAS – Play Playground Las Vegas has launched “Candied Land,” a festive winter takeover running now through mid-January. The 15,000-square-foot attraction inside Luxor Resort and Casino has transformed into a bright, candy-inspired holiday world. The experience features large-scale games, glowing décor and interactive holiday installations created to spark joy and playful energy.
The venue is already known for oversized games and social interaction. However, the “Candied Land” theme adds a fresh layer of winter fun. As a result, guests will find peppermint walkways, candy-colored lights and themed spaces built for both movement and connection.
A Whimsical Winter Playground
Play Playground welcomes ages 13+ during daytime hours and transitions to a 21+ experience at night. This setup gives families and adults their own time to explore. Meanwhile, the seasonal overlay brings festive touches to every corner. Guests can compete in team challenges, grab photo moments and enjoy a lively soundtrack that shifts throughout the day.
Seasonal Cocktails Inspired by Nostalgic Treats
“Candied Land” introduces a new drink menu filled with nostalgic flavors. Each cocktail or mocktail leans into dessert notes and holiday comfort.
For example, the Spiked Chocolate Mountain mixes hot cocoa with toasted marshmallow and chocolate sauce, plus a choice of spirit. Meanwhile, Lost in Peppermint Forest blends Rumple Minze, crème de cacao and cream for a rich mint-flavored drink.
Another offering, How You Like Them Candy Apples?, brings together Angry Orchard, Fireball and cranberry juice. Guests can also try The Jolly Gingerbread, which mixes rum with gingerbread syrup and cream liqueur. For a zero-proof choice, the King Cotton Candy Mocktail adds cotton candy and blueberry syrup. Finally, the Naughty or Nice Shots give guests a choice between a spiced or sweet flavor profile.
Built Around Play and Connection
The winter experience continues to support Play Playground’s goal of encouraging social connection through play.
“‘Candied Land’ brings the kind of playful energy and social connection Las Vegas hasn’t seen before,” said Jennifer Worthington, CEO and co-founder of Play Social Inc. “Everything we create is about giving guests a space to laugh, move, compete a little and remember what it feels like to play without overthinking it.”
Signature attractions remain in place during the seasonal takeover. However, each one is now surrounded by winter décor and candy-inspired environments.
