New attraction brings immersive experiences, unlimited ice cream and Las Vegas-inspired fun to AREA15’s growing entertainment district
LAS VEGAS — A colorful new attraction is preparing to make a sweet debut in Las Vegas. The Museum of Ice Cream will officially open its newest and largest location on July 3 at AREA15, bringing 14 immersive experiences, unlimited ice cream and several attractions created exclusively for Las Vegas visitors.
Located in Zone 2: The Terminals at AREA15, the 30,000-square-foot attraction combines entertainment, interactive exhibits and plenty of frozen treats. Tickets are now available, with prices starting at $42.
The Las Vegas location is the largest Museum of Ice Cream built to date. Designers created the experience to reflect the city’s energy, glamour and playful personality. Guests begin their visit by checking into a luxury-themed ice cream hotel before exploring a series of interactive installations.
One of the biggest attractions is the Golden Scoop Buffet, billed as the world’s largest all-you-can-eat ice cream buffet. More than 20 flavors, toppings and frozen novelties are included with admission.
Visitors will also find the iconic Sprinkle Pool, which features matching two-story slides that send guests into a giant pool filled with colorful sprinkles. According to Museum of Ice Cream officials, it is the largest Sprinkle Pool ever created.
Las Vegas-inspired attractions take center stage
Several experiences were designed specifically for the Las Vegas flagship location.
The Little Pink Chapel combines the city’s famous wedding culture with the museum’s colorful style. Designed to resemble a giant wedding cake, the chapel includes friendship bracelet-making activities created in partnership with BaubleBar. Guests can also reserve the space for weddings and private events.
Another unique feature is the Cone-sino, a family-friendly entertainment area inspired by casino gaming. The attraction includes themed beverages and interactive experiences designed for visitors of all ages.
Guests can also visit Ribbon’s Costume Shop, which offers nearly 100 costume pieces available for purchase or rental. Complimentary accessories are included with admission.
Additional attractions include the Big Top Taste magic show, temporary tattoo experiences at Lucky Cherry Ink Tattoo Parlor and five slides located throughout the venue. The museum says one of those slides is the longest double-helix slide in Las Vegas.
More than just ice cream
The experience extends beyond desserts and photo opportunities.
Visitors will travel through three themed hotel suites known as “sweets.” The S’more’s Sweet features oversized elements inspired by childhood imagination, including a giant marshmallow bed. The Strawberry Sweet focuses on connection and conversation, while the Sprinkled Sweet serves as a private event and celebration space.
A vintage-inspired supper club atmosphere rounds out the experience, paying tribute to classic Las Vegas entertainment while adding a playful twist.
Museum of Ice Cream Co-Founder and CEO Manish Vora said the Las Vegas location represents years of planning and development.
“Half a decade in the making. That’s what Museum of Ice Cream Las Vegas represents,” Vora said. “We came to build the wildest, most immersive, most interactive experience we have ever created.”
Expanding AREA15’s entertainment offerings
The opening adds another major attraction to AREA15’s rapidly growing entertainment district near the Las Vegas Strip.
Zone 2 already includes attractions such as Universal Horror Unleashed, Interstellar Arc and The Escape Game. Additional restaurants, retail concepts and immersive experiences are expected to open in the coming months.
Museum of Ice Cream officials believe the new flagship will become a popular destination for both tourists and local residents seeking a unique entertainment experience.
The attraction officially opens July 3 at AREA15 in Las Vegas.
