Clark County invites job seekers to explore opportunities at the public service career fair on Thursday, August 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event takes place in Room N1, North Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center. It will unite Clark County, local cities, and more than 40 agencies for direct, in-person hiring conversations. Admission and parking are free. Face-to-face access to hiring managers
Attendees can speak directly with recruiters at the public service career fair, ask questions, and learn the application steps for different departments. Employers include the cities of Las Vegas, Henderson, and North Las Vegas. State agencies, hospitals, police departments, and utilities will also be present.

Short, 15-minute workshops led by HR professionals will run throughout the public service career fair:
• 10:30 a.m. — Clark County: Tell Me About Yourself: The Power of Your Story
• 11:15 a.m. — LVMPD: Overview of Public Service Hiring Process
• 12:00 p.m. — University Police Department: Why Choose a Career in Public Service
• 12:45 p.m. — RTC of Southern Nevada: S.T.A.R. Method Job Interviews
These sessions deliver practical tactics to improve interview performance and application readiness.
Departments recruiting across many fields
Clark County departments on site include Aviation, Public Safety, Public Works, District Court, Information Technology, and Juvenile Justice Services. Other agencies include the Southern Nevada Health District, Las Vegas Water District, LVCVA, University Medical Center, and the Regional Transportation Commission. Roles at the public service career fair will range from entry-level to specialized technical and professional careers.
