The Atomic Museum World of Fallout exhibit opened Nov. 14, 2025, and it drew strong excitement from fans and local guests. The museum created the show with Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studios. The exhibit features items from the game and the TV series. It also shows how real nuclear history shaped many ideas found in the Fallout world.

How Fallout and History Connect
The Atomic Museum World of Fallout exhibit places some of the most loved parts of the game beside real events from the Atomic Age. Visitors saw Vault suits, props, art, and rare pieces from the series. Clear, simple displays showed how Cold War fears, science, and culture shaped the style and themes of Fallout. Guests could see how fiction and history link in surprising ways.
A Fresh Way to Share the Story
The Atomic Museum World of Fallout display mixes real artifacts with pieces from the franchise. This helped guests understand how mid-century life shaped the world that Fallout fans know so well. The museum wanted the exhibit to feel bold, creative, and full of real insight. Fans, families, and history lovers all found something to enjoy.

More Fallout Fun Across the Museum
The museum went even further by adding small Fallout-themed Easter eggs across the main gallery. These little surprises gave guests fun moments as they explored other exhibits. It made the full visit feel connected, playful, and rich with detail.
The timing could not have been better. The Prime Video series reached more than 100 million viewers in 2024, bringing a wave of new interest to the franchise. That energy carried over into the exhibit launch and helped make the opening a major moment for the museum.

A Big Step for the Museum
Joseph Kent, chief community officer and curator, said the show gave guests a rare chance to compare real history with the creative world of Fallout. “We wanted people to see where these ideas came from and to have fun with it,” he said.
