LAS VEGAS — The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking the special G2E 2025 anniversary in Las Vegas with record energy and attendance. Presented by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and organized by RX, the event drew about 25,000 professionals from more than 120 countries and regions. The milestone reinforced G2E’s position as the world’s leading gaming gathering, driving innovation and global collaboration.

Honoring a Gaming Visionary
The week opened with a moving tribute to Ernest L. “Ernie” Stevens Jr., longtime chairman of the Indian Gaming Association. His dedication and advocacy shaped tribal and global gaming for decades. Attendees honored his contributions and lasting impact on the industry’s growth and unity.
Inspiring Industry Conversations
Tuesday’s keynote set an exciting tone. AGA President and CEO Bill Miller opened with remarks celebrating gaming’s strength and adaptability. Then, Hope King, founder of Macro Talk and host for Axios, moderated one-on-one talks with MGM Resorts International CEO Bill Hornbuckle, Flutter Entertainment CEO Peter Jackson, and DraftKings CEO Jason Robins. The speakers discussed leadership, innovation, and the evolving role of technology. Their insights highlighted how global gaming continues to adapt and thrive.
Prioritizing Mental Health
Midweek, the focus turned to personal well-being. Mental health advocate and Peloton instructor Kendall Toole joined Global Gaming Women’s Sip & Social Chair Meghan Speranzo for an honest conversation about self-care. They discussed boundary setting, burnout prevention, and the importance of mental health in a fast-paced industry. The session reminded attendees that progress depends on healthy, balanced teams as much as on innovation.
Exploring the Future of Gaming
Educational sessions covered vital topics such as AI integration, prediction markets, regulation, and online gaming expansion. Speakers examined how innovation is reshaping the player experience and the business landscape. This year also saw a wave of mergers and partnerships, showing strong industry growth. “G2E has firmly established itself as the meeting point for the global gaming industry,” said Bill Miller. “This year’s show reflected the strength, diversity, and creativity that define our community.”

Record Participation and New Technology
The 25th edition delivered a show floor larger than ever before. Nearly 400 exhibitors showcased new technologies, gaming systems, and digital platforms. Over 100 educational sessions gave attendees opportunities to learn, connect, and explore the industry’s direction. Additionally, the expanded iGaming Hub within the iGaming Zone drew heavy interest. It showcased the future of online play and innovation beyond the casino floor. Therefore, many described it as the event’s heartbeat.

Adding excitement to the week, G2E introduced the first U.S. G2E Dealer Championship.
