Hot Boats & Cool Cars Show 2026: A Family-Friendly Event

The third annual Hot Boats & Cool Cars show will be held on March 21-22 at Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina, featuring classic cars and high-performance boats. The family-friendly event offers activities like live music, open house tours, and prize giveaways. Admission is free, but a $25 park entrance fee applies.

Car lovers and boating fans will gather at Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina later this month for the third annual Hot Boats & Cool Cars show.

The two-day event is hosted by Lake Mead Mohave Adventures in partnership with the Boulder City Cruisin Association. It will take place March 21 and March 22 inside the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

Visitors can see classic cars, performance boats and recreational watercraft while enjoying a scenic setting along Lake Mohave.

Classic cars and performance boats on display

The show will feature a wide range of vehicles.

Guests can expect to see everything from 1930s street rods to modern sports cars such as Mustangs and Ferraris. High-performance boats and recreational watercraft will also be displayed throughout the marina.

The car and boat show will run both days. Trophy presentations are scheduled for Sunday afternoon.

Prize giveaways will take place during the weekend as well.

Resort open house and family activities

The event also includes a Cottonwood Cove open house.

Visitors can explore the marina and learn about boating and fishing opportunities on Lake Mohave. Guests can also check out hiking trails, RV sites and campground areas around the resort.

Tours of a rental houseboat
Complimentary boat rides
Free hot dogs served from noon to 2 p.m. each day

The event is designed to be family friendly and open to all ages.

Live music and prizes

Saturday evening will feature live music after the show. Guests can enjoy a band performance and dancing under the stars.

Sunday’s program will include trophy awards and large prize giveaways.

Lisa Duncan, senior director of operations for Lake Mead Mohave Adventures, said the event highlights both the vehicles and the outdoor setting.

“This event brings people together in a setting that highlights classic cars and boats while showcasing everything Cottonwood Cove offers,” Duncan said.
