LAS VEGAS (December 2025) — The Fallout holiday event in Las Vegas brings post-apocalyptic cheer to the National Atomic Testing Museum on Saturday, Dec. 20, and Sunday, Dec. 21. The two-day celebration features Vault Boy photo opportunities, a wasteland scavenger hunt, and exclusive collectibles.
The event follows the recent opening of the Museum’s “World of Fallout™” exhibit. Bethesda Softworks partnered with the Museum to create the experience. As a result, visitors can explore nuclear history through the lens of the iconic video game franchise.

Wasteland Scavenger Hunt Experience
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, guests can join a wasteland-themed scavenger hunt. During the Fallout holiday event in Las Vegas, participants search the Museum’s galleries for Fallout-inspired Easter eggs and atomic history references.
The scavenger hunt encourages guests to explore both permanent and rotating exhibits. In addition, it highlights lesser-known moments in nuclear history. Guests who complete the hunt receive a $10 discount toward a case of Jones Nuka Soda, while supplies last.
Vault Boy Photo Opportunities
Vault Boy will appear twice each day for photos. Specifically, appearances take place at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Fans can capture holiday photos with one of Fallout’s most recognizable characters.
Because of Vault Boy’s popularity, guests should arrive early. This experience appeals to longtime fans and first-time visitors alike.

Limited-Edition Collectible Giveaway
All guests attending the Fallout holiday event in Las Vegas receive a limited-edition National Atomic Testing Museum bottlecap upon entry. The Museum created the collectible exclusively for this two-day event.
Moreover, the bottlecap serves as a keepsake celebrating the collaboration between the Museum and the Fallout franchise.
Inside the World of Fallout Exhibit
The Museum’s “World of Fallout™” exhibit explores how nuclear history shaped popular culture. It connects Cold War fears, atomic testing, and post-apocalyptic storytelling.
Visitors encounter historical context alongside recognizable Fallout imagery. As a result, the exhibit bridges education and entertainment. Longtime Fallout fans gain new insight, while history-focused visitors discover the franchise’s real-world roots.
