Join the Free Online Public Art Workshop with Ethan Bach

Clark County’s Public Art Office will host a free online art workshop this April. The featured guest speaker is Ethan Bach, CEO and Founder of Alt Ethos. The virtual session takes place on Tuesday, April 15, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It will be held through Cisco WebEx. To attend, visit: https://tinyurl.com/FullScopeApril2025.

This session is part of the Full Scope series, which explores creative technology in public art.

A Look at Illuminous: Where Art Meets Movement

During the event, Ethan Bach will present Illuminous, an interactive projection-mapped mural. This award-winning project uses light and motion to transform ordinary walls into living, responsive works of art.

It first launched in Fort Collins, Colorado. Instead of simply observing, viewers become part of the experience. The mural shifts based on movement, turning public space into something magical.

Bringing Cities to Life Through Interaction

Bach will share how he created Illuminous, step by step. He will also explain how immersive public art can build community, support local economies, and enhance public space.

These projects offer more than beauty. They encourage conversation, participation, and pride. Cities can use this approach to inspire residents and visitors alike.

Meet the Mind Behind Alt Ethos

Ethan Bach leads Alt Ethos, an experiential design studio focused on interactive public installations. For over two decades, he has specialized in digital storytelling, XR technology, and immersive environments.

His work blends technology with human connection. Whether it’s in a museum, a public plaza, or a branded event, his goal is always the same: create wonder, spark emotion, and bring people together.
