Las Vegas Artists: Apply for Solo Exhibits Now

The Clark County Public Arts Office invites artists to apply for the SOLO SERIES through the Clark County art call. This program offers four Las Vegas artists a chance to display their work in a solo exhibition at the Pearson Community Center Gallery. Each selected artist will showcase their art for eight weeks and lead a workshop related to their exhibit. The deadline to submit is Tuesday, July 8 at 11:59 p.m. Visit Submittable to apply.

Emerging artists gain paid exposure

This program supports emerging and under-recognized local talent. Artists gain hands-on curatorial guidance and full creative freedom. Each artist will earn $600 after completing their exhibit, workshop, and de-installation. This opportunity builds skills in public speaking, workshop facilitation, and self-promotion. Responding to the Clark County art call can help artists access these valuable experiences.

Public engagement drives impact

Artists must conduct a workshop connected to their exhibition, a requirement of the Clark County art call. This builds stronger ties between creators and community. The program encourages learning and sharing. Thus, artists expand their audience and influence through public engagement.

Jury reflects local voices

A blind jury will select artists, per the Clark County art call requirements. Jury members have ties to the Historic Westside. This approach ensures fair evaluation rooted in local culture. The jury’s decision will be announced after submissions close.

County program supports artists year-round

The Clark County Public Arts Office manages three galleries: the Rotunda Gallery, Winchester-Dondero Cultural Center, and Wetlands Park Galleries. These spaces promote fine art across Southern Nevada. The Pearson Gallery adds a new platform for local artists to shine.

Apply now before the July deadline

Applicants should submit artwork samples and workshop plans by July 8 at 11:59 p.m. For more details, visit tinyurl.com/AboutCCPAGalleries. Questions can be sent to CCPublicArt@ClarkCountyNV.gov or messaged to @ccpublicarts on social media.

Artists in Clark County must apply now for this valuable paid solo exhibition opportunity. Responding to the Clark County art call is crucial for those seeking this chance.
