🎶 Mesmerizing Gu Zheng Performance by Annie Lin & Loren Liu
The festival opened with a breathtaking Gu Zheng (Chinese Zither) performance by Annie Lin and her daughter, Loren Liu. This ancient 21-stringed instrument enchanted the crowd with its graceful melodies, offering a mesmerizing glimpse into Chinese musical heritage. Their performance, presented by Koto Restaurant and Annie’s Asian Mart, was one of the standout moments of the festival.

Festival-goers had the unique opportunity to participate in a contemporary calligraphy workshop led by renowned artist Rachel TonThat. Attendees learned to craft lucky door signs (chunlian), symbolizing good fortune and prosperity.
