National Theater Event Set for April 22 and 24
Las Vegas, NV – April 5, 2025 – A powerful new event is coming to theaters this month. Sneak Peek Showcase will run nationwide on April 22 and April 24, offering fans a first look at the biggest movies of 2025.
This is a 70-minute program, created just for the big screen. It includes trailers, never-before-seen footage, and exclusive scenes from major studio releases.
Fans will get two chances to catch the showcase, both at 6 PM local time.
Tickets Are Just $3 — And Every Dollar Goes to Charity
Tickets are priced at only $3.00. Every ticket sold supports one of three nonprofit organizations:
- Variety – The Children’s Charity
- Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation
- The Cinema Foundation
Tickets are available now on Fandango, atthemovies.com, and all major theater websites and apps.
Major Studios Are All In
This showcase includes content from Hollywood’s biggest studios. Each one is previewing part of its summer and fall 2025 lineup.
Participating studios include:
- Sony Pictures Entertainment
- Lionsgate
- Warner Bros. Pictures
- Universal Pictures / Focus Features
- Amazon MGM Studios
- Paramount Pictures
- The Walt Disney Studios
These previews are not recycled trailers. Each piece is custom-curated for moviegoers attending in theaters.
A Big-Screen Experience Made Just for Fans
This event is only available in cinemas. It’s part of a larger effort to make theaters feel fresh, exciting, and exclusive again.
The showcase is produced by The Cinema Foundation and presented by Fandango. Support also comes from The Coca-Cola Company.
As part of the program, fans will see the Grand Prize-winning short film from the 2025 Coca-Cola Refreshing Films program. This competition gives film students a chance to premiere their work to a national audience on the big screen.
A National Campaign to Support Theaters
Sneak Peek Showcase is a featured part of @The Movies, a seasonal campaign led by The Cinema Foundation. The goal is to drive people back to theaters and celebrate the theatrical experience.
This year’s first event was National Popcorn Day in January. Theaters offered unlimited popcorn refills, drawing strong attendance and boosting sales.
More movie-themed days are coming soon:
- Date Night @ The Movies – August 19, 2025
- Family Day @ The Movies – November 9, 2025
These events build momentum. They give people real reasons to return to the box office.
