Outdoor Cinema Experiences at Cosmopolitan and Fontainebleau

Summer movie nights are returning to the Las Vegas Strip as The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Fontainebleau Las Vegas launch their popular outdoor cinema experiences for the 2026 season.

Both resorts are turning pool decks into open-air theaters where guests can float in the water, relax on lounge chairs, and watch blockbuster movies beneath the Las Vegas skyline.

The summer movie programs continue growing in popularity as more resorts expand outdoor entertainment offerings during the warmer months.

Dive In Movies Returns to The Cosmopolitan

The Cosmopolitan’s long-running “Dive In Movies” series officially returns to the Boulevard Pool this summer.

Movie nights take place on select Monday evenings throughout the season. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., while films begin at 8 p.m.

Guests can watch movies directly from the pool or from poolside seating overlooking the Strip.

General admission tickets cost $15. Meanwhile, Las Vegas locals receive discounted admission for $10. Hotel guests and select MGM Rewards members may also qualify for complimentary entry.

This year’s lineup includes a mix of action films, family favorites, and classic comedies.

Upcoming screenings include:

  • “A Minecraft Movie”
  • “The Mighty Ducks”
  • “Clueless”
  • “Rush Hour”
  • “Talladega Nights”
  • “Space Jam”
  • “How to Train Your Dragon”
  • “Superman”
  • “Ocean’s 11”
  • “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”

In addition, guests can enjoy specialty cocktails and traditional movie snacks while watching films beneath the resort’s massive digital marquee.

Fontainebleau Expands Oasis Cinema Club

Meanwhile, Fontainebleau Las Vegas is expanding its “Oasis Cinema Club” at the Oasis Pool Deck.

The luxury resort says the movie series combines outdoor films with elevated dining, cocktails, daybeds, and private cabana experiences.

Doors open at 7 p.m., and movies begin at 8 p.m.

Admission costs $15 for non-hotel guests. However, Fontainebleau hotel guests receive complimentary entry with a valid room key.

The resort’s summer lineup focuses heavily on family-friendly entertainment and animated favorites.

Upcoming movies include:

  • “Luca”
  • “Jurassic World Rebirth”
  • “Frozen”
  • “Inside Out”
  • “Captain America: The First Avenger”
  • “Lilo & Stitch”
  • “The Bad Guys 2”
  • “Zootopia 2”
  • “Black Panther”
  • “Frozen 2”

Meanwhile, Fontainebleau guests can reserve upgraded seating options including private cabanas and luxury daybeds around the pool deck.

Poolside Entertainment Continues Growing in Las Vegas

Poolside movie nights have become increasingly popular across Las Vegas as resorts continue creating alternatives to traditional nightlife and casino entertainment.

Because summer temperatures remain high throughout Southern Nevada, nighttime outdoor experiences continue attracting tourists, families, and locals searching for entertainment after sunset.

Both resorts are also using the events to expand family-friendly programming on the Strip.

Meanwhile, social media interest surrounding outdoor movie nights continues growing as guests share videos and photos from previous screenings.

As summer tourism season starts now, both The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and Fontainebleau Las Vegas are betting that movies, pools, and warm desert nights will remain one of the hottest attractions on the Las Vegas Strip this summer.
