Penn & Teller NAB Television Chairman’s Award 2025
Las Vegas, NV — April 1, 2025 — Entertainment icons Penn & Teller will receive the 2025 NAB Television Chairman’s Award at this year’s NAB Show in Las Vegas. The award will be presented on Tuesday, April 8 at 10 a.m., during the We Are Broadcasters session on the Main Stage.
Recognizing Icons Who Reshaped Television
Presented by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), this prestigious award honors individuals whose work has redefined television as an art form. Since its launch in 2009, past honorees have included Kelsey Grammar, Sterling K. Brown, Kristen Bell, Terry Crews, Mario Lopez, and Jennifer Hudson, who received the award in 2024.
Trailblazers in Entertainment and Magic
Penn & Teller’s legacy spans more than 50 years. What began as street performances in Philadelphia has evolved into one of Las Vegas’ longest-running and most celebrated headlining acts. Their hit show, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, now in its 11th season on The CW, invites magicians to perform in front of the duo for a chance to win a spot on their Vegas stage.
In addition to Fool Us, they’ve also gained acclaim for Penn & Teller: BS!, their BAFTA-nominated documentary Tim’s Vermeer, and various specials and appearances. Their approach to storytelling blends performance, social commentary, and sharp-edged humor—delivering a unique voice in modern television.
