Grand Opening Includes Free Smashburgers for First 100 Guests
HENDERSON, NV (February 2026) — SMKD BBQ will officially open its doors on Wednesday, February 19, with a ribbon cutting ceremony in the heart of Henderson. The restaurant sits on South Eastern Avenue near Sunridge Heights Parkway and marks a new addition to the growing dining scene in the Las Vegas Valley.
First, the celebration will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a formal ribbon cutting alongside members of the Henderson Chamber of Commerce. Local leaders, invited media and community members will attend the ceremony. Guests will also meet the ownership team and pitmasters behind the concept.
After the ceremony, SMKD BBQ will continue the celebration with a special giveaway.
Free Smashburgers From 2–4 p.m.
From 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., SMKD BBQ will offer free smashburgers to the first 100 guests. Each guest will receive one smashburger. However, the offer does not allow substitutions and limits one per customer. Management reserves all rights.
The giveaway aims to introduce the community to SMKD BBQ’s bold flavors and hospitality-driven approach. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for guests to sample the menu while celebrating the grand opening.

SMKD BBQ, short for “Smoked Meats Killer Drinks,” focuses on high-impact barbecue and craft beverages. The culinary team prepares signature smoked meats using traditional techniques while presenting them in a modern setting.
