Sony Electronics Unveils Advanced Display Technologies at InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas
Sony Electronics is wrapping up a successful exhibition of its professional display solutions at InfoComm 2024, held from June 12-14 at the Las Vegas West Hall Convention Center. Located at booth W2201, Sony has been “Creating Connected Experiences” for attendees, partners, and customers. The company highlighted how its visual solutions, imaging products, and projection offerings can be utilized across various verticals and applications. Visitors experienced firsthand how Sony’s innovations amplify engagement, foster collaboration, and prioritize sustainability.

Professional BRAVIA™ Display Ecosystem
Sony’s booth featured the latest in display technology, including:
- BRAVIA Professional Displays: The lineup included the flagship 98-inch BZ53L model, the unique BZ40L series, and the introductory EZ20L series. These displays offer exceptional imaging capabilities and Deep Black Non-Glare technology, addressing common concerns related to digital signage in challenging lighting environments.
- EZ20L Series: Designed for simple, affordable signage, these displays come with built-in BRAVIA Signage Free 2.0 software, enabling standalone digital signage without a set-top box.
Technologies and Applications
Visitors explored a range of applications and vertical markets:
- Wayfinding Solutions: Supported by partners like 22 Miles, Peerless AV, and TSI Touch.
- Auditorium Solutions: Featuring Sony’s SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 4K pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras with advanced AI technology.
- Conferencing and Collaboration: Showcasing mid-range and ultra-compact projectors, alongside partnerships with Velocity Solutions, HealtheMed, and Nureva.
- eSports: Highlighting Sony’s INZONE gaming gear and displays in collaboration with InfoComm Esports Live 2.0.
Alliance Partners and Device Management
Sony’s Pro BRAVIA displays were complemented by the Device Management Platform (DMP), which supports large networks of displays through remote insights and network alerts. DMP, combined with Zero Touch Provisioning, optimizes setup by allowing users to create profiles and apply them based on use case.
Spatial Reality Displays
Sony’s booth featured the eye-catching Spatial Reality Displays (ELF-SR2), providing highly realistic 3D content without special glasses. Attendees experienced multiple stacked displays running continuous 3D video as a tiled array, supported by Peerless AV’s custom mount.
Crystal LED Direct View LED (dvLED) Displays
Another highlight was Sony’s Crystal LED displays. These immersive displays included:
- 4K Crystal LED BH-series: Bright and vivid imagery.
- CH-series: Featuring touchscreen technology.
- VERONA series: Designed for dynamic, realistic viewing experiences.
Sony’s integration with Alleo technology and Peerless AV’s SEAMLESS Kitted Universal dvLED Mounting System provided attendees with a glimpse into the future of display technology.
