INDIANAPOLIS — Registration is now open for one of the motorsports industry’s most valuable networking events as the MPMC Media Trade Conference prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2027.
Hosted by the SEMA Motorsports Parts Manufacturers Council (MPMC), the conference will take place Feb. 2–4, 2027, in Orlando, Florida. The annual gathering gives racing industry manufacturers a chance to meet directly with journalists, editors, broadcasters, podcasters, influencers and digital content creators who cover the motorsports aftermarket.
The event focuses on building professional relationships that often lead to product reviews, feature stories, technical articles and long-term media partnerships.
Manufacturers gain direct media access
Unlike traditional trade shows, the MPMC Media Trade Conference centers on one goal: connecting manufacturers with members of the media.
Participating companies schedule dozens of one-on-one meetings over three days. As a result, manufacturers can introduce new products, explain emerging technologies and discuss industry trends without competing for attention on a crowded trade show floor.
Organizers say the conference remains one of the industry’s most productive opportunities for companies seeking editorial exposure instead of direct sales.
Registration is open to Performance Racing Industry (PRI), MPMC and Truck & Off-Road Alliance (TORA) business members. In addition, companies that register before Sept. 8, 2026, qualify for discounted early-bird pricing.
Thirty years of industry connections
The conference reaches an important milestone in 2027 as it celebrates three decades of bringing manufacturers and media together.
Over the years, thousands of business relationships have started during the event’s signature appointment format. Many companies have secured magazine features, podcast interviews, product reviews and ongoing editorial coverage after meeting with journalists during the conference.
MPMC Chair Brian Bohlander said the event continues to deliver valuable opportunities for manufacturers throughout the racing industry.
He described the conference as a place where conversations become media coverage and professional relationships grow into long-term partnerships.
Furthermore, Bohlander noted that personal connections remain one of the strongest assets in business. Face-to-face conversations often create opportunities that emails and phone calls simply cannot match.
Networking extends beyond scheduled meetings
Although the scheduled appointments remain the centerpiece of the conference, attendees also participate in several networking activities throughout the event.
Manufacturers, editors and content creators gather during evening receptions and social events that encourage additional conversations in a relaxed setting. These informal meetings frequently lead to future collaborations after the conference ends.
The event will also feature the presentation of the 2027 MPMC Robert E. Petersen Media Award, which recognizes excellence in motorsports journalism.
Meanwhile, manufacturers can exchange ideas with industry leaders while learning about changing media trends, digital publishing and new opportunities for brand exposure.
Racing industry continues to grow
Performance Racing Industry continues to support the global motorsports community through advocacy, education and business development.
The organization publishes Performance Racing Industry magazine and produces the annual PRI Show, one of the world’s largest motorsports trade events.
According to PRI, the motorsports industry generates $69.2 billion in annual economic activity across the United States while supporting more than 318,000 jobs nationwide.
With registration now underway, organizers encourage eligible business members to reserve their participation early before discounted pricing expires.
As the MPMC Media Trade Conference enters its 30th year, organizers expect another strong turnout from manufacturers and media professionals eager to strengthen relationships and showcase the latest innovations shaping the future of motorsports.
