HENDERSON, Nev. — Ethel M Chocolates is inviting families to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a unique chocolate experience this summer.
The Henderson chocolatier has announced its new Sweet Celebration Chocolate Tasting Experience, a limited-time event that combines American history, chocolate education and family fun.
The interactive tasting program will take place on Saturdays from June 27 through Aug. 1 at the Ethel M Chocolates Flagship Store and Cactus Garden in Henderson.
Guests will have the opportunity to learn how chocolate has been part of American culture for generations while sampling four iconic treats connected to the Mars family legacy.
The experience was created to honor America’s semiquincentennial celebration while introducing visitors to the history behind some of the country’s most recognizable chocolate brands.

Participants will sample AMERICAN HERITAGE Dark Sipping Chocolate, which offers a taste inspired by chocolate enjoyed during America’s founding era.
Guests will also enjoy a MILKY WAY Mini, Red, White & Blue M&M’S Fun Size candies and Ethel M Chocolates Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate.
Each tasting stop includes stories and historical facts that connect the treats to different generations of Americans.
