LAS VEGAS — One of Las Vegas’ most innovative attractions is heading to one of the world’s most respected film festivals. Interstellar Arc, the groundbreaking virtual reality experience at AREA15, has been selected to participate in the Toronto International Film Festival’s 2026 Innovation Hub, a new program dedicated to showcasing the future of immersive storytelling.
The selection places Interstellar Arc among an elite group of projects chosen to demonstrate how technology is transforming entertainment. The experience, created by the Emmy Award-winning team at Felix & Paul Studios, will make its Canadian premiere during TIFF: The Market from Sept. 10 through Sept. 16 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
For AREA15 and Felix & Paul Studios, the invitation represents another major milestone for an attraction already recognized as one of the most ambitious location-based virtual reality experiences ever created.

Canadian audiences will experience the opening chapter
Throughout the week-long Innovation Hub, TIFF passholders will have the opportunity to experience the opening sequence of Interstellar Arc’s cinematic adventure.
The immersive preview introduces visitors to humanity’s next great mission beyond Earth while demonstrating the advanced virtual reality technology that powers the attraction.
In addition, Stéphane Rituit, co-founder and chief executive officer of Felix & Paul Studios, will participate in an exclusive Artist Talk during the festival. He will discuss the creative vision behind the project and explain how immersive experiences continue to reshape modern storytelling.
The Innovation Hub brings together filmmakers, producers, developers and entertainment leaders from around the world to explore emerging technologies that are changing how audiences experience stories.

A journey centuries into humanity’s future
Interstellar Arc takes guests far beyond traditional virtual reality entertainment.
The experience begins inside Spaceport One, where visitors board a massive generational spacecraft preparing for humanity’s first interstellar mission. Passengers then enter cryogenic sleep before awakening 262 years later as the ship approaches Arcadia, a distant exoplanet selected to become humanity’s next home.
As the journey unfolds, guests freely explore enormous futuristic environments while interacting with Diplomat, an advanced artificial intelligence guide that helps navigate the spacecraft.
The adventure concludes in Cosmopolis, a breathtaking orbital city built above Arcadia and envisioned as humanity’s next civilization.
Unlike traditional VR attractions, Interstellar Arc allows visitors to physically move throughout expansive digital environments, creating an experience that blends cinematic storytelling with interactive exploration.

Felix & Paul Studios continue pushing creative boundaries
Interstellar Arc was created by Félix Lajeunesse and Paul Raphaël, the Emmy Award-winning founders of Felix & Paul Studios.
The studio has spent more than a decade pioneering immersive entertainment through award-winning productions that combine filmmaking, cutting-edge technology and interactive design.
Its portfolio includes more than 30 virtual reality experiences, including the acclaimed Space Explorers: The ISS Experience, as well as collaborations with Cirque du Soleil, Universal Studios and Fox Searchlight.
According to Rituit, TIFF’s recognition highlights the creative ambition behind the project while reinforcing the growing role immersive experiences play in the future of storytelling.
AREA15 continues expanding its immersive lineup
Interstellar Arc remains one of the flagship attractions inside AREA15’s expanding Zone 2: The Terminals development.
The district continues adding world-class entertainment experiences, including Universal Horror Unleashed, Museum of Ice Cream’s flagship Las Vegas location, The Escape Game, Dolls Kill and several new attractions scheduled to open in the coming months.
AREA15 has earned international recognition for redefining experiential entertainment through immersive art, technology, live events and interactive attractions. Its continued expansion has helped position Las Vegas as one of the world’s leading destinations for next-generation entertainment.
Its selection for TIFF’s Innovation Hub, Interstellar Arc now adds another international achievement to its growing list of accomplishments while introducing Canadian audiences to one of Las Vegas’ most innovative attractions.
