GAYDON, England — The British Motor Museum will once again welcome automotive enthusiasts from across the United Kingdom when Petrol & Pride returns on July 26, 2026. However, this year’s event arrives with a larger footprint, expanded programming and increased support from the live events industry.
Petrol & Pride celebrates members, friends and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community through a shared passion for vehicles and automotive culture. Organizers designed the event to create a welcoming environment where attendees can showcase both their vehicles and their individuality.
Now entering its second year, Petrol & Pride has evolved significantly. What began as a gathering focused on the automotive industry and diversity networks has transformed into a major public event that promotes inclusion, visibility and community engagement.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire.

Event welcomes all vehicle enthusiasts
One of the event’s defining features is its open and inclusive approach.
Cars, motorcycles, trucks and even ice cream vans are welcome regardless of age, condition, brand or value. As a result, attendees can enjoy a diverse display of vehicles while connecting with fellow enthusiasts from different backgrounds.
Organizers believe automotive culture thrives when everyone feels welcome. Therefore, the event focuses on celebrating the people behind the vehicles as much as the vehicles themselves.
Visitors can expect a full day of entertainment and activities. Plans include vehicle displays, live music, awards presentations and a colorful Pride vehicle display featuring a rainbow arrangement of participating vehicles.
Guests will receive access to the British Motor Museum, allowing them to explore the history of British motoring while attending the event.

British Motor Museum provides ideal setting
The British Motor Museum offers extensive facilities that support large-scale automotive gatherings.
Located just minutes from Junction 12 of the M40, the venue features 65 acres of grounds, multiple hard-standing event areas and vehicle-friendly infrastructure.
According to organizers, those resources helped make the Museum a natural choice for the event’s continued growth.
Toby Batchelor, Head of Commerce at the British Motor Museum, said the event demonstrates how the right venue partnership can transform a promising idea into a successful live experience.
He noted that Petrol & Pride combines a passion for motoring with a strong sense of belonging and community. Furthermore, he said the Museum’s facilities provide the space, access and operational support necessary to create a memorable event.

Industry partners help event expand
This year’s event also benefits from support from Goose Live Events, which joins as the event organizer and delivery partner.
The collaboration highlights how industry expertise can help purpose-driven events reach wider audiences while maintaining their core mission.
Wayne Bruce, founder of Petrol & Pride, said organizers wanted more than a simple vehicle gathering. Instead, they sought a venue and event team capable of creating a welcoming experience for everyone who attends.
Bruce praised the British Motor Museum for embracing the event’s vision. Moreover, he credited Goose Live Events for helping shape the event’s future growth and development.
Goose Live Events Chief Experience Officer Sam Trevenna described Petrol & Pride as an event with strong long-term potential.
He said the combination of a passionate community, a unique venue and a meaningful purpose creates a powerful foundation for future growth.
Event supports charity and community causes
Beyond celebrating automotive culture, Petrol & Pride 2026 will also support charitable causes.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the British Motor Museum and an LGBTQ+ charity that organizers plan to announce at a later date.
Attendees will not only enjoy a unique automotive experience but also help support organizations that promote education, preservation and inclusion.
As preparations continue, organizers are encouraging additional sponsors and event-sector businesses to become involved. They hope the event will continue growing into a lasting platform that celebrates diversity while bringing people together through a shared love of vehicles.
