Just Now News was on hand Wednesday as passionate England and Argentina supporters packed the iconic Las Vegas Strip venue to watch one of the most anticipated matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Hours before kickoff, fans wearing national team jerseys began arriving, eager to secure seats for a semifinal showdown featuring two of the sport’s most storied nations.
By game time, the restaurant was buzzing with anticipation.
England supporters proudly displayed their flags and sang team chants, while Argentina fans arrived ready to cheer on Lionel Messi and his teammates. The atmosphere was electric, creating a scene that felt more like a stadium than a restaurant on the Strip.
What immediately stood out was Hard Rock Cafe’s impressive viewing setup. Nearly every table throughout the restaurant features its own television monitor, allowing guests to watch every second of the match while enjoying food and drinks. Meanwhile, the venue’s massive central bar is surrounded by huge high-definition monitors, ensuring fans have a clear view of the action from every angle.
Combined with full match audio throughout the venue, the experience was immersive from start to finish.
England delivers an early spark
The match began at a frantic pace, and England supporters soon had a reason to celebrate.
When Anthony Gordon scored to give England a 1-0 lead, the restaurant erupted. Fans jumped from their seats, raised scarves into the air and exchanged high-fives as chants echoed across the dining room.

Suddenly, belief returned to the Argentina faithful.
The biggest moment arrived later when Lautaro Martínez scored the decisive goal that completed Argentina’s comeback.
As the ball crossed the line, Argentina supporters erupted into celebration. Some fans hugged complete strangers. Others jumped onto their feet and waved flags while chanting Argentina’s name.
On the other side of the restaurant, England supporters could only watch as their hopes of reaching the final slipped away.
When the final whistle sounded, Argentina had secured a dramatic 2-1 victory and a place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final.
