LAS VEGAS — MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM Las Vegas has officially made history.
The highly anticipated attraction celebrated the biggest opening weekend in company history after debuting at AREA15, drawing record-breaking crowds and exceeding expectations across nearly every measurable category. The opening marks a major milestone for the global experiential brand, which continues to expand its mission of creating joyful spaces that bring people together through play, imagination and, of course, ice cream.
Located inside AREA15’s growing Zone 2 entertainment district, the new Las Vegas attraction quickly established itself as one of the city’s hottest destinations. Demand surged well before opening day, with presale ticket sales reaching more than three times the volume recorded for the brand’s Miami launch.
As guests poured through the doors, excitement continued to build.
More than 20 sessions sold out during opening weekend, while VIP attendance reached the highest level ever recorded for a MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM opening. Visitors from around the world arrived eager to experience the attraction’s colorful installations, interactive exhibits and unlimited ice cream offerings.

Las Vegas proves to be the perfect home
For MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM Co-Founder and CEO Manish Vora, the success of the Las Vegas launch reflects the city’s unique ability to embrace innovative entertainment experiences.
“The future of entertainment is about bringing people together through shared experiences that create joy and lasting memories,” Vora said. “That’s exactly why Las Vegas was the right place for our most ambitious museum yet.”
The attraction’s arrival also received a warm welcome from local leaders.
Clark County and city officials officially proclaimed July 9 as MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM Day. In addition, the famous Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign glowed pink in honor of the opening celebration, creating a memorable moment for guests and community leaders alike.
During the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, Mayor Shelley Berkley joined local officials in recognizing the attraction as an important addition to the city’s growing collection of family-friendly destinations.

Opening weekend numbers tell the story
The excitement surrounding the attraction translated into impressive numbers throughout opening weekend.
Guests consumed more than 19,200 scoops of ice cream and more than 7,000 ice cream bars and popsicles. Additionally, visitors enjoyed over 450 gallons of ice cream while exploring the museum’s vibrant installations.
The attraction also welcomed record-breaking VIP attendance and generated significant social media buzz as guests shared photos and videos from the immersive experience.
These figures highlight the strong demand for family-friendly entertainment experiences in Las Vegas and reinforce AREA15’s growing reputation as one of the city’s most innovative destinations.

A one-of-a-kind experience
As the largest MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM location in the world, the Las Vegas attraction features 14 themed installations designed to encourage guests to interact, explore and play.
Highlights include the world’s largest all-you-can-eat ice cream buffet, the brand’s largest Sprinkle Pool and five slides, including the longest double-helix slide in Las Vegas.
Throughout opening weekend, families, creators, influencers and visitors from across the globe explored the colorful attraction while creating memories together.
A special collaboration involving Universal Horror Unleashed and the upcoming film Theater is Dead further showcased AREA15’s ability to bring multiple entertainment experiences together under one roof.
As MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM continues its global expansion, company leaders view the Las Vegas location as a blueprint for the future. Bigger, more immersive and more interactive than previous locations, it represents the next chapter in the brand’s evolution.
