The Evel Knievel Experience will officially open June 27 in the Las Vegas Arts District, bringing a large-scale interactive museum dedicated to the life and career of legendary stunt performer Evel Knievel to Southern Nevada.
Tickets are now on sale for the attraction, which combines historical artifacts, virtual reality elements, restored vehicles, and immersive exhibits centered on Knievel’s career and cultural impact. Organizers said the new Las Vegas location expands on the original Evel Knievel Museum that opened in Topeka, Kansas, in 2017.

Interactive Museum Focuses on High-Adrenaline Experiences
The Las Vegas attraction was designed as a modern interactive museum rather than a traditional exhibit space.
Visitors will be able to explore displays featuring Knievel’s motorcycles, jumpsuits, helmets, vehicles, and personal memorabilia. The museum will also feature hands-on experiences intended to place guests in the middle of Knievel’s most famous stunts.
One of the major attractions includes a 4D virtual reality motorcycle jump simulation. Participants will sit on a moving motorcycle platform while experiencing a recreated stunt jump sequence.
Another interactive feature, called Jump Planner, allows visitors to design their own stunt jump and test whether they can successfully land it.
Because of these additions, organizers expect the attraction to appeal to both longtime fans and younger audiences unfamiliar with Knievel’s career.

Historic Artifacts Included in Collection
The museum will house what organizers describe as the world’s largest collection of Evel Knievel artifacts.
Among the featured items is the Snake River Canyon Skycycle X-2, built for Knievel’s famous 1974 jump attempt over Idaho’s Snake River Canyon.
The collection also includes his signature red, white, and blue jumpsuits, original motorcycles, and the helmet worn during his 1967 Caesars Palace crash in Las Vegas.
That crash left Knievel hospitalized in a coma for nearly a month and became one of the defining moments of his career.
Visitors will also be able to walk through “Big Red,” Knievel’s restored Mack truck and trailer used during his national touring years.

“Big Red” Caravan to Arrive on Las Vegas Strip
Before the museum officially opens, “Big Red” will travel cross-country as part of a promotional caravan known as “Big Red’s Run.”
The tour begins in Kansas City and will end in Las Vegas with a planned arrival on the Strip on May 23.
Organizers said the caravan is intended to build awareness ahead of the museum’s opening while honoring Knievel’s touring legacy.
Because of Knievel’s connection to Las Vegas, the city was selected as the permanent home for the expanded museum concept.

Family and Co-Founders Support Expansion
Museum co-founder Mike Patterson said Knievel’s story continues to connect with audiences decades after his career peaked.
“We designed this attraction as a place where people can feel that for themselves,” Patterson said.
Kelly Knievel, who lives in Las Vegas, also expressed support for the project and said the attraction adds another entertainment destination to the city.
Co-founder Lathan McKay said Knievel’s determination and willingness to continue performing despite injuries remains central to his legacy.

Las Vegas Arts District Continues Growing
The museum’s opening adds another attraction to the rapidly developing Las Vegas Arts District.
The area has seen continued growth in entertainment venues, restaurants, retail spaces, and experiential attractions over the past several years.
Industry analysts say immersive museums and interactive attractions continue to gain popularity as visitors increasingly seek experiences beyond traditional casinos and nightlife.
Because of that trend, Las Vegas operators have invested heavily in experience-driven entertainment concepts.
Attraction Includes Retail and Café Space
The Evel Knievel Experience will also feature a retail store selling memorabilia, apparel, toys, and collectibles tied to Knievel’s career.
An on-site café serving drinks and snacks will operate inside the attraction.
Officials said future plans include guided tours, VIP packages, private events, and group bookings.
The museum expects most visits to last between 60 and 90 minutes.
