LAS VEGAS — The Wedding Capital of the World™ is preparing to celebrate its 73rd anniversary in grand fashion with a unique event that combines romance, baseball and American tradition.
On Sunday, Aug. 30, couples who married or renewed their vows in Southern Nevada will gather at Las Vegas Ballpark for “Love at the Ballpark,” a special anniversary celebration hosted by the Las Vegas Wedding Club. The event also coincides with America’s 250th anniversary, creating a memorable tribute to two traditions that have long brought people together: marriage and baseball.
The celebration will take place as the Las Vegas Aviators take on the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, offering attendees an evening filled with nostalgia, entertainment and renewed commitment.

A celebration of love and tradition
For more than seven decades, Las Vegas has welcomed couples from around the world seeking a memorable wedding experience. Today, the destination remains one of the most recognized wedding locations on the planet.
This year’s anniversary event honors that legacy while embracing the spirit of America’s milestone 250th anniversary.
Attendees will enjoy admission to the game along with access to an exclusive all-inclusive reception overlooking the field. The event will feature an Americana-inspired buffet, wedding cake, commemorative photo opportunities and special giveaways.
Couples will have the opportunity to connect with others who chose Las Vegas as the backdrop for one of life’s most important moments.

Group vow renewal highlights the evening
The centerpiece of the celebration will be a group vow renewal ceremony held during the event.
Couples will reaffirm their commitment in front of family members, friends and fellow participants. As a result, the ceremony promises to create a powerful and heartfelt moment for everyone in attendance.
Throughout the evening, attendees may also become part of the ballpark experience through special in-game activities.
Video board recognitions, kiss cam appearances, themed entertainment and a love story montage are all planned as part of the festivities. These activities will celebrate the millions of love stories that began in Las Vegas.

Honoring more than five million Vegas love stories
According to Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya, the event recognizes the role Las Vegas has played in bringing couples together for generations.
“As America marks its 250th anniversary, we wanted to create an experience that cheers on two enduring institutions that bring people together, marriage and baseball,” Goya said.
She noted that the Wedding Capital of the World™ has helped create more than five million Las Vegas love stories and continues to attract couples from every state and around the globe.
In 2025 alone, Clark County issued more than 70,000 marriage licenses, reinforcing Las Vegas’ reputation as one of the world’s premier wedding destinations.

Supporting an important cause
In addition to celebrating love, the event will support a meaningful local organization.
A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Champions for CASA, the nonprofit auxiliary supporting the Court Appointed Special Advocates program. The organization recruits, supports and recognizes volunteers who advocate for children in the foster care system.
Attendees will not only celebrate their own love stories but also help support vulnerable children throughout the community.
