LAS VEGAS — Credit One Bank received the Toastmasters International Corporate Recognition Award on Tuesday, May 5, during a ceremony at the company’s Las Vegas headquarters.
Toastmasters International presented the award in recognition of Credit One Bank’s commitment to employee leadership, communication and professional development through its workplace Toastmasters club, Credit One Toasters.

The ceremony brought together company leadership, Toastmasters representatives and employees to celebrate the success of the workplace communication program.

Toastmasters leaders recognize employee development
Radhi Spear, DTM, Toastmasters International Immediate Past President attended the ceremony and helped present the award.
During the event, speakers highlighted the importance of workplace communication programs and leadership training. In addition, Toastmasters leaders praised the company for creating opportunities for employees to grow professionally.
Credit One Bank launched Credit One Toasters on Aug. 15, 2023. Since then, the club has expanded steadily and built strong employee participation.
Today, the organization includes 43 members and maintains a 75% retention rate.
Furthermore, the club earned Distinguished status through the Toastmasters Distinguished Club Program.

Employees strengthen leadership and speaking skills
Officials said the Toastmasters program gives employees a supportive space to improve speaking and leadership abilities.
As a result, members continue developing confidence in presentations, teamwork and communication.
Several participants have also advanced into leadership positions within Toastmasters District 115. Others competed in speech contests and attended international Toastmasters conferences.
Because of this success, Toastmasters International selected Credit One Bank for the national recognition award.


Club leadership helped expand participation
Lynna Duron currently leads the employee club while serving as assistant vice president at Credit One Bank.
Under her leadership, the organization increased employee participation and engagement.
At the same time, Shannon Oroz, Immediate Past President and Toastmasters District 115 Area Director worked closely with club officers to support mentorship and leadership development.
Speakers during Tuesday’s ceremony said the workplace club continues helping employees pursue career advancement opportunities.
Moreover, organizers noted that the program strengthened collaboration across teams within the company.
Event highlights workplace communication programs
Many companies now place greater focus on leadership and communication training.
Programs such as Toastmasters help employees become stronger public speakers while also improving teamwork and confidence.

Credit One Bank continues expanding community presence
