New promotion combines space adventure, hands-on learning and support for Southern Nevada youth

LAS VEGAS — Families searching for an educational summer activity now have a new reason to visit AREA15.
Interstellar Arc, the groundbreaking virtual reality attraction inside AREA15, has unveiled its new Interstellar Explorer Student Summer Space Promotion. The initiative combines immersive entertainment with science, technology, engineering and mathematics education while supporting youth programs across Southern Nevada.
Running from June 1 through Aug. 9, the program encourages children and teens to explore space science through interactive experiences inspired by real-world exploration and future space travel.
The summer promotion also offers discounted admission for students while generating support for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada.

Bringing science to life through storytelling
Interstellar Arc is recognized as one of the world’s largest virtual reality experiences.
Guests begin their journey aboard a futuristic spacecraft traveling 262 light-years toward a distant exoplanet known as Arcadia.
Throughout the experience, visitors explore massive virtual environments, interact with advanced technologies and imagine what humanity’s future might look like beyond Earth.
The new Interstellar Explorer program expands that experience by introducing educational components tied directly to scientific concepts.
Topics include cryosleep, exoplanets, sustainability, long-distance space travel and the search for life beyond Earth.
Organizers say the goal is to transform entertainment into a learning opportunity while encouraging curiosity and critical thinking among young visitors.

Students receive exclusive summer benefits
The Interstellar Explorer promotion is available to students ages 8 through 17 for a discounted admission price of $30.
Participants receive several exclusive items designed to extend learning beyond their visit.
Each student receives:
- An Interstellar Explorer souvenir laminate
- A Mission Crest collectible pin
- A NASA Star Wheel kit for at-home astronomy exploration
The educational package allows families to continue discussing space science and astronomy after leaving the attraction.
Organizers say the promotion was designed to create a lasting connection between immersive entertainment and STEM education.
Family guide encourages learning together
A key component of the program is the HEXO Family Mission Guide.
The guide encourages parents and children to explore scientific and ethical questions inspired by the attraction’s storyline.
Families can discuss topics such as:
- Future human settlements beyond Earth
- Closed-loop life support systems
- Interstellar travel
- Planetary exploration
- The possibility of extraterrestrial life
The guide includes conversation prompts and hands-on activities designed to encourage family engagement.
Rather than simply experiencing the attraction, visitors are invited to think critically about humanity’s future in space.

Supporting Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada
The summer initiative also serves a charitable purpose.
For every Interstellar Explorer youth ticket sold, Interstellar Arc will donate $1 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada.
The funds will support STEAM education programs focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
Yolanda Mationg, chief development officer for Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, said the partnership helps create meaningful educational opportunities for local youth.
“The wonder of space exploration naturally sparks curiosity in young people, and that curiosity can open the door to lifelong learning,” Mationg said in a statement.
She added that support from Interstellar Arc will help expand educational programming and workforce development opportunities throughout Southern Nevada.
The nonprofit serves nearly 1,500 young people daily through clubhouses and educational programs across Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas.
Space exploration continues inspiring future generations
Interest in space exploration continues to grow as NASA advances its Artemis missions and private companies expand commercial spaceflight initiatives.
Interstellar Arc hopes to build upon that momentum by introducing young visitors to scientific concepts through immersive storytelling.
Unlike traditional classroom instruction, the attraction places students directly inside a futuristic narrative where they can visualize the challenges and possibilities of interstellar travel.
Organizers believe immersive learning experiences can inspire future careers in science, engineering and technology.
The combination of education and entertainment makes the program particularly appealing during summer break.
AREA15 attraction offers unique learning opportunity
Located inside AREA15’s expanding entertainment district, Interstellar Arc continues attracting visitors seeking innovative experiences that blend technology, storytelling and imagination.
Created by Emmy Award-winning Felix & Paul Studios, the attraction represents one of the most ambitious virtual reality projects ever developed.
This summer’s Interstellar Explorer initiative builds upon that foundation by creating opportunities for learning while supporting local nonprofit organizations.
For families seeking an activity that combines fun, education and community impact, the program offers a unique opportunity to explore the future of space travel while helping support youth development programs throughout Southern Nevada.
As students prepare for another school year, organizers hope they leave with more than memories of a virtual journey across the galaxy.
They hope they leave inspired to continue exploring science, technology and the possibilities that lie beyond our world.
