Athletics schedule six regular-season games at Las Vegas Ballpark as excitement builds toward the franchise’s permanent move to Southern Nevada

LAS VEGAS — Baseball fans in Southern Nevada will once again get a chance to see Major League Baseball in person before the Athletics officially move into their new Las Vegas home.

The A’s have announced that six regular-season home games will be played at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin from May 31 through June 5, 2027. The special homestand will give local fans another opportunity to experience big league baseball as the franchise continues its transition toward a permanent move to Las Vegas in 2028.

The six-game stretch follows a successful 2026 Las Vegas homestand that generated strong attendance and enthusiastic support from local baseball fans. As a result, the Athletics decided to return for another extended stay in Southern Nevada.

Padres and Reds coming to Las Vegas

The Athletics will begin their Las Vegas schedule with a three-game series against the San Diego Padres.

The series will run from Monday, May 31, through Wednesday, June 2nd. Notably, the opener falls on Memorial Day, which could attract one of the largest baseball crowds of the year in Southern Nevada.

Immediately afterward, the Cincinnati Reds will arrive for another three-game series.

Those games are scheduled for June 3, June 4 and June 5 at Las Vegas Ballpark. Consequently, fans will have six consecutive days of Major League Baseball in the valley.
